- Administering the Treatment: The Spravato nasal spray is self-administered under the supervision of a trained healthcare provider.
- Relaxation Time: You’ll spend the next two hours in a quiet, comfortable space. During this time, we encourage you to listen to a specially curated playlist designed to promote relaxation and self-reflection or you may opt to bring in your own playlist.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Our staff will be nearby throughout your session to monitor your progress and ensure your safety.
Spravato sessions are typically done twice per week for the first four weeks followed by maintenance therapy as needed. Spravato use may be combined with ongoing therapy or counseling for a more holistic approach, and we are happy to take clients for Spravato treatment who have an established therapist outside of The Lotus Center for a collaborative approach to your mental health.
Who Can Benefit from Spravato?
Spravato is specifically approved for adults with:
- Treatment-Resistant Depression: Depression that has not improved with at least two other antidepressants.
